MyMedicare is a voluntary patient registration program that strengthens your connection with your regular general practice.

By registering with East Launceston Medical Centre, you nominate us as your preferred practice for ongoing care, supporting better continuity and coordination of your healthcare.

Option 1 Register online

Register directly through your Medicare account.

Option 2:
Register via the myGov App

• Log into myGov with your username and password or your myGov Digital Identity.
• Tap the Medicare service from your linked services.
• Select “Register for MyMedicare”.
• Follow the prompts to choose your regular GP and practice.

• Submit your registration — and you’re done!

New to the practice

If you are joining as a new patient, you will have the option to register as part of your patient registration form.
